First Zoukout experience. awesomes. loves the beach. loves seeing the sky when clubbing. loves the lights. loves the music... alot, alot.
loves being up till sunrise.

no pics. but i think the memory of everything will be in my head quite a while.

Part II

Night. After the rain. cold. clear. fresh air.

How could we have resisted such wonderful weather? :)

So... equipped with zm's non-dirty camera (yesh mine is dirty due to poor maintenance) and the very important tripod.. we headed back!!  no regrets.

 
dig this shot quite a bit. for various reasons. weren't many cars so it did take quite a few adjustments before we got what we wanted. think the junction is interesting.. with the cars u-turning. the car lights look damn white.. as if everybody changed their headlights to white lights. and lastly, i think the silhouette of the tree at bottom left is really nice.

we decided to get experimental and this is what we got:

yes. ghostly impressions of us. lol.. not the perfect shot but it was really fun running around the bridge just to get these shots out. :)

The 10 days without parents

As many of you would know, my parents went for their zillionth honeymoon trip t0 Japan not too long ago. In other words...

• i had no parents to report to for the 10 days
• i drove to work almost everyday! shiok!
• the whole house was pretty much mine so could easily invite  friends over to chill & catch up rather than go out
• i went for salsa social THREE times during this period (think that's a record for me), and manage to come home after 1pm. It was great meeting the same peeps over the 3 days :)
• bf and i spent some quality time together and hence the following pics!

Bf and I went to explore Telok Blangah Hill. In fact, we actually went there twice in a day!

Afternoon was cool and eventually got rainy. and it was the nice type of rain. the type that i love. *grins* windy, smell of rain in the air... was so tempted to wait for the rain to pour while outdoors but bf wasn't too attracted to the idea of getting drenched. haha

i was really fascinated with this old man. he was alone and using this old camera ... and it looks as if he's used to being alone. wonder what's in his head when he climbs up this hill and sees this scenery. this led to several other thoughts.. bout parents when they grow old, how my dad will be like when he retires.. will he be something like that? on a side note.. did also wonder if i was using a film camera like his, what shots would i end up taking since i have limited shots?

Moving on, we next walked to the nearby Forest trail/tree-top walk. Didn't really walk it cuz i think it led to Kent Ridge Park or sth. another day perhaps..

love the openess on the bridge. they also had quite a number of seating areas along the bridge for people to just seat and enjoy the breeze and scenery. wooden planks rawk too!

Spent only about half hour  or less at the bridge and then the rain came.

upon graduation, a group of us caderas peeps decided to go around a school and take pics of our memorable moments in school...in our grad gown. I think we took quite a number of hilarious shots... shots that definitely don't make us look like graduates :)

postcards

was looking through my stack of brochures and postcards and miscellaneous items that I bought/ brought back from my exchange in Europe.

one word: nostalgia

after more than one year, I can still vividly remember the details of some of the trips, the feeling of being there, the exhilaration felt. this is still my best trip ever. i am fortunate enough to be able to even go there once.. but i still want to go back. badly. why is europe so far away?

going through this stack, i realised how much i love postcards. Really glad i bought them... even though it was the only souvenir i could afford to buy most of the time anyway :)

Just finished decorating my 'exchange days corner'. *grins* The  idea came about after i FINALLY decided to DIY frame our jigsaw puzzle of schloss neuschwanstein  and pasted it on my wall. Feel so good just staring at it!! *BEAMS*

well.. since i can't go there.. i can just stare at this and daydream.

Little Blue Car Part I

Little Blue Car took a little ride in the East on Sunday. Purrrrfect weather. got me on a high after the whole trip.

Poor bf was unable to join me this time cuz he has to work on Sunday *patpat*, so I had trusty thamster as company instead.

Anyway, this is the first time i'm actually taking photos with an object in mind and just playing around with that object. I must say it was pretty fun and interesting.. can't wait to do it again!

Love this!

As you can probably tell.. i'm really digging the reflection thingy. I think that's what makes my car unique and happy looking :) And yeah.. i'm still a sucker for scenery.. so don't expect me to take exhaust pipes or something.

finally met up with vincent before he left for germany. our highlight of the evening was dessert from canele @ shaw. enjoy the outdoor environment there, love the crepe. happy dessert :)

Felt really awkward giving my mummy cash.. so i decided to put it in an envelope  and make it look like a letter!

i am officially broke cuz of my crazy shopping spree over the weekend. never felt like that before... that urge to shop. but i lurrrrvvvvee all my purchases! Think it's well spent. at least i hope it is. haha
